ONE OF A KIND CLOCK! This "World
Time Clock" was made in 1950 by the National Watch Company in
Switzerland and was the presented for the 1956 "Dewar's Trophy"
for the National Power Cruiser Championship off Long Island, NY. The clock
is gold, silver and brass plated and is enclosed in a glass case. The size
is 12" X 12". Please refer to the detailed pictures.
The clock was recently examined by the owner of a specialty clock and watch shop and he was able to contact the owner of the National Watch Company. Through this contact and gathering all relevant information on the clock he was able to determine it would have cost $12,500 to replace in 1950. He did not feel he could determine a value in today's dollars because of the uniqueness of this piece, but of course it would follow its value is well above its cost to make in 1950. We welcome participation by dealers or brokers to find just the right buyer for this clock. It is truly a work of art and for the right collector it would be a once in a lifetime find. There is not another one like it. Please look at all the pictures of this clock and contact Gary at 804-384-3570 for any other information. E-Mail Gary at gltrittipoe@aol.com First Trade
